Hello,
My friend sent me a PayPal e-check for $3,000, however she didn't select friends and family, so I refunded the e-check immediately BEFORE the hold was complete, so technically the e-check never hit my account.
PayPal deducted the $3,000 from my checking account, however, and the e-check never did hit my bank account (it has been 10 business days) so I am without the funds.
To make things more confusing, my friend sent me another e-check the same day for the $3,000 friends and family, and that e-check arrived a few days ago.
So without the original e-check being released to my account I have lost $3k.
I have written to PayPal and have received no response. Can anyone suggest what to do for me to recoup the original e-check that I refunded yet was taken from my bank account?
