I have gotten a "debt collection demand"(i dont know if that is the correct english term) from Gothia Inkasso here in Sweden.

It says its from Paypal Europe, adress Singapore and that it is a negative balance on my PayPal account and some numbers and nothing else. It is about $350 and i cant remember buying anything and my history on PayPal doesnt show anything like that. What could have happened?

PayPal doesnt seem to have customer service in Sweden

I made an police report after the first contact with Gothis, when I had the report I sent it to Gothia, and Gothia sent it to Paypal, and after 2-3 weeks i received a message from Gothia that they had closed this.

"Hej,
Härmed meddelas att inkassoärende med aktnummer XXXXXXX hos oss har avslutats i sin helhet.
Med vänlig hälsning
XXX"

I Can´t understand why Gothia continue working with Paypal, so much administration for nothing, or do they just sitting and waiting for people to pay the invoice so they get the fee from paypal? and what happens to the people who payed this, do Gothia send them money back, when they know this is a scam?? We are in 2021 now, and in SWEDEN, it must work better then this!

Mine was resolved like larpets.

I guess that Paypal pays Gothia for their debt demand services and as long as they do that Gothia wont mind doing this
