Currency exchange when transfer

I have a Georgian bank account which has a option for Dollars. Why is the transfer to this account in local currency and not dollars. I want to transfer the money in USD not Georgia lari

Think Paypal only lets you withdraw to a bank account in local currency.

Thank you @kernowlass for your input. Transfers to a local bank account can indeed be processed only in the local currency.
