I am not in the US, and I do not work in USD. I am in the UK and work exclusively in GBP... but for some reason when my friends or family (in the UK) use my email address to send me funds in PayPal, it converts it to USD. I cannot find any reason why this might be the case. I happen to have an ‘aol’ email address...might that be why? I don’t want my payments being made in USD, as I just then have to convert them back to GBP anyway!

Click on your paypal wallet in the blue band and look at the currencies, is USD marked as primary?
If so then click on the 3 dots and select GBP instead.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

Huh! This worked. It took me ages to find the wallet, as this doesn’t appear on the app, but in the browser version I finally located it and changed it. Thanks so much!
