Confirmation code for bank account

I have recently tried to move money sent to me via PayPal but I have to confirm my bank account, it said there has been a deposit of £0.01 sent to my bank account along with a 4 digit code but when I view my bank statement there is no such thing. I have waited more than 2 hours (which was the time suggested) and still no deposit has been made. Any help? I need to have this money in my bank account ASAP.

Its a weekend, give it a bit longer.

Also sometimes the 1p shows without the code if you view it on a short ATM statement and sometimes on online banking to you may need to give the bank a call to get the code.
