So oddly enough about 6 months ago paypal unlinked my Wells Fargo checking account. i have been trying to link it again but it has given me the same error that it cannot connect. however my debit card (wells fargo) is linked with no issues.
has anyone else experienced this same issue?

It happens. Hit the "Login to Ask the community" button to create a question for the PayPal community.
