72 hour security review

I have recently sold a item on eBay, eBay themselves held my money for a week and now PayPal are holding it for another 72 hours after eBay released my funds? The reason I sold this item is because I’m going through financial hardship due to covid 19 bare in mind I have three children and a partner that depend on me? Can anything be done to quick up the process or even cancel it?
