Claim Dispute overseas support team lacks empathy to support clients

I called Paypal asking for extension of time to submit tracking number against my claim as I'm travelling overseas. I explained to them the situation but the support team unyeilding to understand and support. I also suggested them writing to the seller asking for extension, which they refused. When I asked for the copy or the call recording number they refused to share saying it is confidential internal information and would only be submitted if subpeoned by the court.
Unhelpful support team. I've lost over $250 for a partial cost refund claim which Paypal is unwilling to provide extension.
