I made an eBay purchase. Due to late payment problems, I could not use PayPal credit; fine by me. I used my credit card. The item purchased had wrong data about the cost of shipping which was about $20 more than stated so, I cancelled the purchase and did so in agreement with the seller.
The problem is that PayPal credited my PayPal account instead of my credit card account.
Now, I contend the credit go to my credit card account from which funds were transacted, (or, the refunded amount go to payment to credit a late pay situation).
But no, in convouted logic, the late paymenht stands, but boy oh boy, I now have an increased credit in the payPal account - which has a payment overdue status???
After this is resolved, I'll no longer be using PayPal - and if it is the only way to pay, the seller will have just lost a sale. **bleep** PayPal.
