Not happy with this at all. This is unprofessional and wrong, just wrong and I hope you'll sort this out or it won't be the last you hear from me. I wanted to buy something on Steam, okay? Used my PayPal account, thought it would link directly into my bank and use that money instantly, but it didn't. So I looked eeeeeeeeeverywhere for a Cancel button, but alas there was no way to cancel PayPal from pulling the money out (poor form). So I thought, well maybe if you don't have the money in your account anymore it won't take it. So I did this, I moved the money to my mom's bank account and used her credit card to purchase the game on Steam.
But lo and behold my bank account is in negative numbers now, AND DROPPING LOWER. Keep in mind that I haven't even made a purchase at this point, I'm just trying to put credit onto my PayPal account. AND I'M ALREADY IN THE HOLE $26AUD AND I DON'T GET PAID FOR A WEEK. I'm a struggling poor student as it is, this is not on. I want to cancel the transaction, and have what part of the $34 I tried to take out ($18 of it was in there) to be sent back to me before this goddamn negative number gets bigger. If you had have sent the money straight back after realising it wasn't sufficient, then I wouldn't even be in negatives anymore, no worries, I would have lost a bit for a stupid mistake. But now I am losing a whole lot more, and every day it gets more and more. THIS IS UNJUST.
If this issue isn't resolved, this will certainly not be the last that PayPal hears of me. Fix this issue, for me and for users in future. What immoral trickery.

When you pay a seller it is never instant > paypal credit the seller for you and then start the process of uploading your funds to paypal from your funding source, it may leave your bank account within a few hours or up to 3 days.
This is done so you get your item more quickly.

Kudos / Solution appreciated.

Gee, thanks for the automated response, but if you'd actually read my post you'd realise that I'm not sending any money to a seller. I was trying to cash up my PayPal account.. no sale made.

Problem is, it's too late. PayPal is enamored of it's new, user-unfriendly system. You're **bleep**. You be better off not using PayPal altogther (like me and quite a few others). Sooner or later you'll get knee-deep into some problem and they will leave you twisting in the breeze
