Same problem as me... I am on hold for 10m and get a man named Marcus, who barely understands English and keeps saying, "how you say..". After 3 minutes, I realized he has no ability to solve my problem because he doesn't understand the problem. At all.
I told him just to transfer me to a manager, and I am still on hold as I type. It's been 67 minutes now.
PayPal was nothing like this when I worked there in 2011, so what the **bleep** happened?
I'd prefer putting my card numbers out to merchants, because even if they are intercepted I am protected, and when I call any of my debit/credit card issuers, it is less than a 10 minute fiasco.
