I know i am being scammed and so that's not the issue. I was going to share the details of what the scammer sent me to the community. But i wasn't sure if that was the best idea. I already forwarded the email to spoof@paypal.com. is that pretty much the best solution?

Yes because you are not allowed to name and shame on this public board.
Also the scam often has nothing to do with paypal as they don't use paypals site to scam you (unless its the invoice / gift scam).
Advice is voluntary.
