I made the mistake of using Bill Me Later to purchase some big ticket items off of Ebay. For those of you thinking of using them BEWARE. This is what they do. My bill was due on the 1oth of the month and they would email me my BIll Me Later notice that my bill was due on the 11th WITH A $35.00 late fee.
When I call ed them they tried to give me some BS that the bill was emailed out but that I had not made a payment the previous month (which was a lie) and when I did not buy that they told me that it must have gotten caught in my SPAM filter. I then said if that was the case I would not have received this current bill and all of the others in the past.
He said that as a one time courtesy they would waive the late fee. It was only because I called in and called them on their reprehensible buisness practices that they waived me fee.
I paid off the account in ful and told them that I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN AND TELL EVERYONE I COME ACROSS ABOUT THEIR FILTHY BUSINESS PRACTICES!
If you use them be preapred for them to screw you not only in late fees but their outrageous interest rates they hit you with. It is all a trap to milk as much money out of you in any way they can.
They are a FILTHY, DISPICABLE company. I am reporting them to the BBB as well but wanted to share this with everyone.

Ebay and Paypal act in their own best interest. Rulings that are at times seem arbitrary and out of context have everything to do with profit and expediency. I've been burned by sellers before only to have ebay/paypal rule in sellers favor during ebay/paypal sanctioned protest procedures. Its all about who they think will generate them, ebay/paypal, the most profit longterm. Caveot Emptor
