"Locked out" of getting into PayPal

Thanks to the clever PayPal programming, I am now completely locked out of my account.

"Click here, and we'll phone you"... only the call never arrives. (Maybe I entered a dummy number, or the International code for UK is wrong, or it's a text only feature) The 4 digits appear onscreen ... then says "Call again"

"Update your details". You need to log in to do that!
Contact PayPal help. You need to log in to do that !

I've already had to purchase a phone so I can comply with the 2SA ... now can't even get in!

Perhaps they are trying to tell me to switch to Stripe ... which I would, except I don't think they offer Mass Pay / Payouts (or whatever the 'flavour of the month' name is for this feature this week)

Seems no one is able - or even interested - in helping to solve this dilemma. I suppose I shouldn't be too surprised !

You do realise we are volunteers on here don't you?

So when and if you get help is dependent on when someone logs on to try and help others and answer some issues.

As you have never helped anyone on this forum and never bothered to leave kudos/solution to anyone that did give up their time to help you then not sure you can be aggrieved at the lack of response.

Yes the forum is busy at the moment as there is very little customer services available due to covid, so I just got around to clicking on your post, bye then.

Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

Sorry I upset you. I thought that PayPal might also read the forum from time to time as I don't think it's something that could be solved by an outsider.

(I've also just made another post as - when I read your post last time, and the "bye then" at the end - I thought you had locked me out. Only per chance I saw the reply button when I came back this evening)

True, I've never helped others, mainly as I seldom use PayPal. (in the past, I used it to pay for ebay items, but other than that never used) So I can hardly advise others on a subject I know nothing about. It's only because I have started to develop a product, and want to investigate IPN etc (which some say is now defunct anyway!) and Mass Pay (invitation only) and Payouts that I have tried to use my account.
