After a review, we decided to permanently limit your account as we found potential risk associated with it. You’ll not be able to use PayPal to send and receive money or shop online.

If you have money in your PayPal balance, we’ll hold the money for up to 180 days. After that period, we’ll email you with information on how to access your funds.

We regret any inconvenience this may cause.

So I received the above message from paypal... And I have no idea why that happened. Could someone explain how to Solve it? I have over $1000 in my balance that I was willing to use very soon...

Paypal holds your funds for 180 days as that is the same timeframe that buyers have to open paypal disputes.

So if no disputes are opened against you in 180 days then you are allowed to withdraw the funds as long as you are over 18, the account is in your legal name and registered in the country where you reside.

Sometimes Paypal request further documentation from you before you can withdraw those funds.

but all the money i received was as sent to me as friends and family and not as goods and service so what could the disputes be about?

Firstly that could be why you were banned? If you were receiving friends/family payments for sales as its against paypal rules.

Secondly a buyer could not open a paypal dispute if they paid using the friends / family option BUT they could still file a dispute for an unauthorised transaction OR do a chargeback even if they paid using that option.

I got this money while playing a game. We used to duel like 20$ vs 20$, winner takes them and so on. None of these are a result of selling goods
