Verify Your Account To Accept Payments From Overseas Customers

Hi guys Actually I have 2 queries. I will start with the first. I am using a personal account. And I have a message on my profile page which states "Verify your account to accept payments from overseas customers". So, what does it mean?? I am working as a freelancer currently. So, if I need to receive payments from Upwork or Fiverr or such websites, do I need to verify and Upgrade my account to "Business"?? I only need to receive payments from such freelance websites, which in turn should get transferred to my bank account. So. do I really need to verify and upgrade my account for that?? If someone could help, it would be grateful... kind regards
