PSD2 Constantly asking for code to login

Hi,

    I have been having the issue for a while and it is starting to become extremely frustrating every time I login to Paypal I have to enter a code this happens every single time without fail, I don't mind doing it fairly occasionally but having to do it every time is getting extremely tedious. I cannot see why It asks every time I do not have 2 factor authentication of the account and according to the another post I quote:

"In most instances, you'll continue to login or pay with PayPal by entering your email address and your PayPal password, as usual. However, we may sometimes ask you to enter a one-time passcode which we'll send via SMS to the phone number you've registered with us."

If it is sometimes then why I am being asked every time

I've lost out on purchases on ebay as a result of this continuous need to login, as other people have beat me to the purchase. NOT HAPPY, that this cannot be suppressed, I login to paypal at least 10 times a day ON THE SAME MACHINE AND SAME BROWSER!!

Are paypal going to fix this issue? I don't see why I need to do it 5 minutes after I've already done it. I can understand once a day maybe. But I've been using the same phone. I turned it off in the settings but it still persists.

Same here ... I used to get it maybe once a week but now it is EVERY SINGLE LOGIN. I use the same laptop and phone and have clicked "trust this device" multiple times. It started about a week ago and is fast becoming so irritating that I am switching to just paying via debit card

I have gone to settings but it seems I cannot switch it off despite PayPal help article telling me I can 

Anyone have any idea how to turn this irritant off ?

I am having this problem.  I think sometimes it goes away, but then I'll have to get codes several times in one day.  Surely the necessary cookies must be in place.
