No Mobile phone and no access

I don't have a mobile phone. I was told I could enter a landline in my chosen number to allow authentication, but nothing happens. It says it is calling me but my phone doesn't ring. It then asks me if I want it to try again and I click yes but my phone still doesn't ring. It has the right number, but their system obviously isn't working. So what do I do? I can't add or amend a number unless I'm logged in, but I cannot log in unless I receive their code. It's a vicious circle and very poorly thought out.

Hi, same problem here!
Anyone knows: if I never use paypal again, will I be charged with fees with the result of having negative balance?
Meaning owing money all of a sudden??

It happens. Hit the "Login to Ask the community" button to create a question for the PayPal community.
- I have added my debit card already to other PayPal account. But I cant access it. in My Account Archives
- uk financial ombudsman in My Account Archives
- Can't access PayPal without my old phone number in My Account Archives
- how can i get back to my account after deleting the phone number i used in creating the account in My Account Archives
- Proof of ID! in Disputes and Limitations Archives
