Name change

Hi. a few days ago i requested for a minor change in my account name because of typing mistake in time of registration. later i received an email stating that my name was changed but when i logged into my account, the name was still the same. does anyone know what's going on?
I want to link my bank account but the name on my paypal account doesn't exactly match the name on my local bank account. so what should I do now?

Try refreshing your web browser - delete your browser's cookies, temp files, history, cache, etc., then close the browser, reopen and log back into your account.   No guarantees but, worth a try.
