Migrating account abroad (eu to non eu)

Hello community! I've been reading and even though my question partially has been answered more than once, I was hoping to get some additional specifics.

My PayPal account was opened (and verified) in Sweden many years ago. Now I've moved to Georgia (country) and need to migrate my account. I understand that the safest way to do this is to empty my account completely and close it, then again register an account from location in Georgia with the same email address. This primarily to ensure I can connect a local bank account/card to my Paypal account, which I've reassured will be possible. I do have a legal address, ID and other necessities prepared as well.

My first question is, can I do this in one go? Close and re-open, or is there a waiting time or re-approval process for this specific case? My other question is what really matters, though. I've received continuous payments from my company to my Swedish PayPal and now I intend for the salary to go to the newly opened Georgian PayPal instead, in order for taxes and whatnot to be done properly. I remember the first time I had to accept (or claim) that transfer. If I go ahead with this procedure, do I need to notify my company or will the transfers continue to be made without them having to do anything extra? As the economy department is terrible it'd be a relief if I didn't have to involve them. Are there any other things I might not think about in all this?

Grateful for advice! Thanks in advance.
