I've had a notification on an old email address that I've received a sizable payment. I attempted to add this email account to my business account but it stated "something went wrong". When I moved to the Philippines 12 years ago I opened a new PayPal account at their behest and that is the account I use. My old UK based account is where this sizable payment has been sent so I attempted to log into my account and it asks me to confirm with an SMS message to a phone list of numbers that no longer exist. I can change my password however once I come to log in I'm blocked by this SMS validation.
How on earth am I supposed to access the large payment that has been sent to me?
If that's not possible, how can I reverse the payment so I can get a payment to my current paypal account?
If that's not possible what do I do?
