I am new to paypal, I registered my nickname surname only. I am now updating my first name but it's asking for marriage contract, cert of divorce or deed poll which I have none because I am single and never change my name. What am I gonna do? Example, my registered name is Ann Tyrell but my full name is Ann May Tyrell. Please help because I got money in balance
I understand you did not use your official name when you signed up for PayPal. If your nickname is included in the official name, as it states in your PassPort or other copy of ID, we can adjust the name for you. If your nickname is very different to your official name we will not be able to adjust this. This would mean that the current account will remain limited but you can open a new account on your real name :).
