Has Paypal been shut down today, June 23, 2021?

Hi Community,

I'm trying to log into my paypal account. But no matter which browser I use I get the same result: a black screen with the text "ERROR Please try again later", and further down on the screen is the text "We can't find a page with the url you entered". The URL which I entered is http://www.paypal.com !! What the heck is going on? Has the service been hacked? Is this just a temporary interruption of service? I'm on the west coast of California. Is anyone else experiencing this weirdness today, June 23, 2021? I'll try to insert a screenshot of my laptop.
