Hello i been with paypal for over 5 years and my account wants an auth code for me to log in first time its ever done it to me and i no longer have my old phone number i tried phoneing up but they put it down everytime this isnt fair and they wont deal with it either.
There have been messages in paypal accounts and emails for ages saying to make sure your phone information is up to date on your paypal account so its ready for that exact reason ie 2 factor authentication.
Even if you didn't see the messages surely you would keep your paypal contact info up to date?
