Changing account from U.S to Brazil

Hello I am Diogo and I used to live in the US. I created a paypal account to work with my Ebay account at that time and now I returned to Brazil.

I have a band on bandcamp and I am having issues trying to set my account using my brazilian phone number, adress and bank account, because to verify my ID i need to put my SSN (which I dont have) and my phone set up was the one from the US also.

What could I do to change my profile to a brazilian one and put the right information so I can start getting money from bandcamp the right way?

Paypal is country specific so if you move countries you have to open another paypal account in the country you reside in and add an address / phone number / and bank accounts from within that country.

You are supposed to withdraw any funds / resolve issues / remove cards and bank accounts before you leave your old country. If you don't then you may have problems doing so once you have moved.

The only exception is U.S expats can add their bank accounts to other countries paypal accounts (paypal is a U.S company so they allow their citizens to do this).
