Hello, PayPal support team! Unfortunately I have to say that I’ve got serious problem with my old PayPal account due I can’t login in my account because PayPal system asking me to do mobile phone number verification which is I changed long time ago and now I have different phone number which means I can’t get access to my old account. I have full access to my password and gmail which’s linked to my account. My old number was <removed> and I changed to this one: <removed>. The most remarkable is 24/09/2020 I successfully did login in my account <removed> without any problem or phone verification of my old number. On 24/09/2020 I sent payment to my aunt Jelena <removed>. The amount was £57,46 GBP -> €60.00, transaction ID: 6ST4002817217335L. On 23/12/2020 my aunt sent me £ 130,78 GBP, transaction ID: 7T917782010253455. Unfortunately until now I still can’t get this money from my account due I don’t have old phone number anymore to confirm extra verification. I tried to find solution of this problem on PayPal forum community and I’ve got the answer from one of PayPal moderator. He said next thing: you should be able to change the verification method by selecting, «I don’t have my phone with me». But unfortunately this is incorrect. There’s no option as «I don’t have a phone with me». It has only 2 options: Receive a text on my old number <removed> or have us call you. Nothing else. I feel very cheated by PayPal system due I can’t login in my account and get my money. Please, I need your support, PayPal team. I can provide all information for this account to confirm that this is my account. Also my aunt Jelena <removed> (which is sent money to my account on 23/12/2020) can provide information about me and her transaction. This is details about my account: Vados <removed> <removed> Old Phone number (which is I don’t have access anymore): <removed> Date of birthday: <removed> I created this account <removed> only because I wanted to contact with PayPal support team! Please, I’m looking forward to hearing from you soon! Respectfully, Zenkovits.

Try:
1. Downloading the app to see if it will let you in to change / update it in the settings.
2. Use the forgotten password option several times.
3. Trying another browser that may let you in without phone verification (then change it when you have logged in).
4. Trying again another day when sometimes you can get in without doing the verification and then change the number.
5. Changing the password a few times sometimes works as it can bypass the phone verification.
If that does not work then you would need to contact customer services so that they can i.d. you another way and then add your new phone number to your account.
Contact options for Paypal are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages...
