Bank account in different country

Im new to paypal and Im trying to setup my account and bank details.

I live in a different country to to bank account. How can I add it?

It would have helped if you said what country you are in as some countries can't add bank accounts.

However...........

Paypal is country specific so you have to open a paypal account in the country you reside in and add an address / phone number / bank accounts / cards from within that country.

The exception is that you can add a US bank account to most other countries paypal accounts, this is because paypal is a U.S company.
