I am trying to upload a business logo for my invoices - I have the correct size, format, etc., and it appears to be uploaded successfully, but does not show up. I get the missing image icon every time. Help!

Thanks HES - tried that and I still can't get it to show up. I'm SO annoyed at this point and not sure why I'm not hearing back about this. They obviously don't know why it's happening either - I give up!

Hello mjv,

I am sorry you are still experiencing the issue with the x showing instead of the actual image. There are a few reasons why the x would appear, 1.)The image is stored on an unsecured server 2.) the image uploaded is to large and 3.) the URL path is incorrect. It sounds like you already tried all of these options. It may be easier if you called PayPal directly and we can take a closer look at the image. I would be frustrated as well at this point.

Can some engineer at Paypal actually test this feature try to put a logo on an invoice?

It seems like y'all are pulling answers out of thin air.  For example, there is no provision in the "logo feature" to input a URL.  So saying that the problem might be an unsecure URL is non sensical.  Just get an engineer to test, reproduce the problem and then fix the problem, or pull the feature.  Jeez why does this have to be such a time waster?

Hello bkrewin,

Welcome to the Board.

I do understand that it can be frustrating when PayPal account features are not working properly. You said you were uploading an image 75 x 200 which would be the correct size to upload also the image would need to be resided on a secure sever to show up properly. If it is still not working I would advice you to call PayPal directly and we can take a look at it directly.

I just want to give you all an update.  I finaly found time to call PayPal.  The call started with the support person telling me the same thing Misty has been telling us.  He asked me if my logo was on a secure server and if I had used the correct URL.  Even started to argue with me when I told him that wasn't how it works.  So, he went to the "Create Invoice" page I was looking at and saw that I was correct and was being asked to upload a file just as if I was attaching a photo to an e-mail.  He had never seen this before and commented on how it was new.  He put me on hold for quite some time while he "took a crash course to learn how to use this."  He also connected with his peers and a manager.  Finally he came back and said this was the first time anyone had even seen this change.  "Thank you for pointing this out to us," he said.  Then he said there was nothing he could do for me except to submit a support ticket to the developers and ask them to fix it.  Told me that I'd receive an e-mail when it was addressed.  So, I guess we have to hold on for a bit.  We can also feel good about pointing this out to PayPal so they could address it.  Too bad Misty didn't actually go to the "Create Invoice" page to see what we were talking about instead of insisting we needed a URL when the have changed the system.  WE DON'T NEED A URL OR A SECURE SERVER!  All we need is for the "Upload Logo" feature to work.  Misty, I'll send you a bill for my time educating you about your job 🙂  As for the rest of you, I'll let you know when I hear something!

Thank you SOOOOOO much BAF! Obviously, I hadn't gotten around to calling (anyone with kids knows that's about an impossibility!) I appreciate your pain and suffering Smiley Happy I had even attached a screen shot of the invoice logo feature  in one of my posts, but that was obviously ignored. Not trying to get on Misty - but sometimes we lowly users know what we're talking about. Anyway, glad to know someone is aware of this new feature and the fact that it doesn't work. Maybe I'll get to attach my logo to my invoices someday. Until then, I'll just be plain old mjv.

Happy invoicing y'all!

Hello BAF,

I do apologize for all the confusion about the PayPal Invoice Logo feature. There are a couple of different options available when it comes to adding your Logo to your invoice. From all the posts made recently it sounds as if there was some confusion about which invoice option the logo was being uploaded to.

To clarify here is the correct information - The image size needs to be 75 x 200 pixels and does not need to be on a secure server. To upload the image you would just browse to the correct location the image is stored and upload it to PayPal. However this is a new feature to PayPal that was made available and it is correct that a ticket needs to be created if you are experiencing problems with the image showing up properly or not at all.

I hope this helps clarify all the confusion with this new feature.

It doesn't work for me either.  Waiting for a response back from Paypal for a fix.  Very frustrating.

And in mid-August it still doesn't work.

How does PayPal regard its identity as a business? Judging from the fact that it puts its logo on everything, I'm going to think it feels its identity is crucial. Guess how your customer business feel about our business identities?

PayPal has made it clear that it does not respect our business identities. Which means PayPal does not respect us as customers.

Unless I see a formal, unequivocal apology in this thread and a commitment made and kept to correct this problem in 5 business days, I will begin moving to another payment platform that understands in order to build their identity, they have to respect mine too.

I've learned in business if you're working with someone who has no respect for your business, you move on. Quick.
