I am trying to use Payflow Pro for payments on a subscription site.
Okay I have done the below before with Linpoint API on a dating site to manage subscriptions.
1. User wants to become a full member.
2. They fill out the form with details etc.
3. Hit the submit button and this sends XML to the API which then sends back an XML response.
4. If the response says "credit card is okay" then update database with full use of the site. If "credit card fails"; post the error to the customer.
I am new to Payflow Pro and wondered if there is code showing the simplest way to do this? All I need is to take a credit card and do a one time charge on it and if it passes the DB updates them to full member and if it fails error. This site will not need a cart since it is a single charge and one item "Full membershipt".
I have done this as I said above with Linkpoint but that was a .NET site. This client is still using Classic ASP "I know Iknow :)".
