Hi everybody,

I have a dilemma.

I am already setup Express Checkout, but client wants creditcard processing in addition.

Does creditcard processing can implement from Express Checkout or I must implement Website Payments Standard.

Does Website Payments Standard cover Express Checkout part?

thx

If you want to process credit cards directly, you'll need to use PayPal Website Payments Pro (or alternatively; Website Payments Pro Hosted Solution).

Website Payments Pro gives you access to an additional API call, DoDirectPayment. DoDirectPayment is the API call that allows you to process a card number directly.

The API documentation relevant to Website Payments Pro is https://cms.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/?cmd=_render-content&content_ID=developer/e_howto_api_nvp_r_DoDire...

If you wish to sign up for Website Payments Pro, please see https://merchant.paypal.com/cgi-bin/marketingweb?cmd=_render-content&content_ID=merch ant/wp_pro

Also keep in mind your website will need to be PCI compliant if you start accepting and processing customer card details on your own site.

You can find more information about PCI Compliancy at https://www.paypal.com/pcicompliance/

Alternatively you may call our sales team at 1-866-836-1648 for further information on Website Payments Pro and all requirements you need to meet.

Hope this helps. Please do let me know in case you have any further technical questions regarding Website Payments Pro.
