I have created a page on a website in Wordpress where a person can register to participate in an event. They are taken to a page where they can click a payment button that takes them to PayPal with the amount already pre-established. However, they are only given credit card as a method of payment. Why are they not offered eCheck as well?
If I send out invoices to clients I have had them pay me with eCheck before. Why does it not show up when you direct them to a checkout page within a website?

Hello JackDeth,
When you are taken to the checkout page, are you presented with the option to log into your PayPal account or pay with a credit card? If you do see the option to log into your PayPal, you would choose the option to pay with your bank account once you log into your account . If you have a credit card on file the payment would be paid instantly through the bank account. If they do not have a credit card on file an echeck would be offered at that time as a way to pay.
I hope this makes sense.

Yes. That is what is seen. But my customers don't want to have to sign up for a PayPal account and wait for the verifications and all that just to pay with an eCheck.

I too am trying to figure out how to offer eCheck as an option to people when they donate to our non-profit organization. If they don't have a paypal account, they are only presented with the option to pay via credit card. Anybody find a way to offer the eCheck option in this scenario?
Thanks 😃

Hello jackhappy,
Welcome to the Community .
In order for your client to utilize the PayPal echeck feature they will need to have a PayPal account. The echeck will be an option to use if they have a bank account attached to their PayPal account.
