Reauthorization in Braintree?

  I don't process the customer's payment until their order ships however, some items are special orders that take longer to ship so the authorization expires.  Then I'm not able to process their payment. 

 

Is there a way to reauthorize an expired authorization in Braintree, so I don't have to either process their payment prior to shipping or ask them to place the order again?
