I've had my paypal account for years and I've used it numerous times without any issues. Maybe a year ago paypal checkout just stopped working on any website where I tried. Always the same error, I go to paypal from the merchant's check-out page, I log in, and at the last step I always get the "we are sorry, things are not working at the moment" error.
- I've checked the status of my account, there are no notifications are pending messages/tasks
- I've re-added my current credit/debit card
- I'm bank account is correctly linked
