Does PayPal card reader accept EFTPOS cards?

I can't seem to find a definitive answer, but does anyone know if the PayPal card reader can accept EFTPOS cards in Australia?  I'm also using SQUARE and they don't accept EFTPOS cards which is very frustrating.

I’ve had this same problem and have lost sales. The card still has a chip but says eftpos in the corner. Can we get around it
