I'm involved with a nonprofit and we used the triangle card swipers for PayPal Here that plug directly into your phone for as long as we could. We finally upgraded to the card and chip readers that connect via bluetooth. We can connect them fine to our phones, but if we go 5-10 minutes without a sale the readers will disconnect from our phones. When we open the PayPal Here app we have to wait for the reader to reconnect again. We would rather have the readers constantly ready to go. Is there a way to do this?
Card reader software and phone apps are up to date. Card readers are fully charged. We've deleted the app and redownloaded. Disconnected bluetooth and reconnected.
