I am using add to cart buttons on my website. One a year we see a huge in purchases during a 15 minute time frame. I understand that the additional traffic can cause issues with my site. However, are there other problems (with over 800 add to cart transactions being processed at one time) that I should be aware of? I've upgraded my server from a shared hosting to VPS site. Any advice would be appreciated.
