Hello,
A customer made a purchase on my website and paid via Paypal. I shipped the item and was given the tracking. However, I just got off the phone with USPS and they have lost the package. The customer has put up a claim against me saying I did not ship it. I responded with the tracking number which does show it was shipped.
How will payapl handle this? Will I lose my money? It's an international order and USPS says they don't always track them properly which is wonderful.
Not really sure what to do here. All I know is I have one extremely angry (and... let's just say unpleasant customer) blaming me and threatening to leave negative reviews and hurt my business. This was around a $500 purchase. I also may think he put up a claim against me so he could get his package and get his money back which is fraud. What should I do?
Thank you guys,
-Gold
