Hello, I sold one of my used vacuum cleaners batteries fully working no issues private seller & after delivery the buyer put in a return request stating change of mind. Reason for return, Changed my mind, Details "Hi, I think is the hoover broke so I don't need the battery anymore. So, I would like to return. Thank you!
I declined the return pointing out returns not accepted, private sale & if he wishes he could resell it on ebay using my desc. & photos. He immediately left a neg (my first) saying worse seller ever (this was his second purchase) refused to refund. I was annoyed but tried not to think about it but he then put in a Paypal claim stating INR on the 18th April but I wasnt notified until he escalated it on the 30th April so I submitted the tracking showing delivered & he then changed it to SNAD saying he wishes to return it, nothing else, not even saying what was wrong with it. I replied saying this is fraud due to the above, explaining its buyers remorse, he only bought it to test his vacuum cleaner & uploading screenshots of the case details from ebay showing change of mind etc as I am aware Paypal cant see the case. Paypal reviewed it & said it would be best if the buyer returned it & as soon as I get it back let them know or they will check the tracking & refund him (thats nice of them).
The buyer uploaded the tracking & again paypal emailed telling me as soon as I get it back refund him by the 12th May. The item was sent via DHL Express to arrive on the 12th May. On the 10th May it was picked up from Newcastle (I live in Widnes) but was then on hold, then early this morning it changed to "Awaiting collection by recipient as requested NEWCASTLE - UK 10:33" I didnt request anything. Then it changed to "With delivery courier NEWCASTLE - UK 17:24" then "Delivered - Signed for by: <removed> Widnes 17:24." As you can see it was out for delivery in Newcastle & then delivered back to the sender but shows Widnes. I havent received anything, I checked my CCTV & no DHL. It also states "Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at 17:24 Origin Service Area: NEWCASTLE - Northumberland - UK Destination Service Area: NEWCASTLE - WIDNES - UK" So to me it looks like its been sent back to the sender the next day for some reason but annoyingly shows it as delivered to Widnes on one line and Widnes Newcastle on another but if it shows delivered my worry is Paypal will see it as delivered & refund & he ends up with the item & a refund. I dont understand how paypal decided to get him to return it & dont understand how its been returned back to the buyer the next day unless he's purposely but his own address on it with the town as Widnes or because hes possibly labeled it as a battery and they returned it back to him?
