Help! How do I prevent fraudulent chargeback claims? Not for “item not received” but specifically for fraud claims that they, the purchaser did not authorise the charge because they did not know it occurred.
I recently sold something to an individual who I just found out, is now on public FB pages urging people to use PayPal’s buyer protection because they will get their money back. This person goes on to say how she has filed multiple (and emphasises the word multiple in all caps) claims and always got her money back. This sounds fishy to me and my gut is bracing for a false claim. For my part, I did send the purchase tracked, and sent the purchaser proof of drop off.
Any advice for prevention?
