showing that "debit card is linked to another paypal account"

I've closed my old Paypal account because of some reason. Now i created a new account, but now Iam facing a problem. that is when i tried to link my debit card that I've linked on my closed account, showing that "this debit card is already linked with another Paypal account.I have closed my old account then why this problem came ?

If you didn't remove the card BEFORE you closed the paypal account then only customer services 'may' be able to remove it for you.
