delete seller profile

Someone please tell me how I can delete/remove a seller profile that I mistakenly created. 

If I cannot delete it altogether, I'd like to at least change the name- is that possible?

You have a personal account so you need to have your legal name on that account, do you have a business name instead?

Welcome to the PayPal Community and thank you for your post!

Seller profiles can be placed in an “off” status but cannot be deleted. When your profile is in the “off” state, people can’t see your profile or find you in search.

If you want to edit your Seller Profile, please follow the steps below.

From your web browser:
1. Click the Settings icon.
2. Click on your seller profile and then click manage.
3. Click Edit.
4. Fill in the updated information, and then click Save.
 

From your PayPal mobile app:
1. Tap on your profile picture from the home page.
2. Tap on your seller profile from the Profile page.  
3. Tap Edit.
4. Fill in the updated information, and then click Save.
