Issues with Postal Code and Email Addresses

Dear PayPal community,

 

I am reaching out to urgently request a resolution to the multiple issues that have prevented me from completing the setup of my PayPal Business account in Denmark.

For months, I have been trying to configure my Business account, but upon entering my Danish postal code, the system rejects it, blocking me from continuing. I have been living in Denmark for almost two years, and I have updated all my residence information on my account, yet the system still does not accept my postal code. In March (!), I received the following response from your support team:

 

"Hello,  I hope you are well. My name is Luz, and it is a pleasure to assist you.
Please excuse the delay in responding. PayPal accounts are meant for exclusive use in the country where they were created due to different local laws. You may close this account and open a new one with the same email.
Please remember to use your current residence details."

I followed these instructions, closed the account, and opened a new one in Denmark with my current email and all updated residence information. However, I am still experiencing the same issue with my postal code being rejected.

To make matters worse, I am now experiencing issues with my email addresses as well. The system informed me that I couldn’t use my personal account’s email to set up the Business account because it was already in use. I then tried a new email. Now, the system will not let me use either the new or the previous email, stating that both are “already in use.” This new issue has blocked my setup process entirely.

I would greatly appreciate your urgent attention to this matter, and I request that an agent manually reviews the emails associated with my accounts, as well as the postal code rejection. I am very frustrated with the lack of communication options and the long wait for a response.

 

I've had this problem since March and I haven't received any help! It's inconceivable!

If your unable to login into your PayPal account do reach us via phone and kindly select "Call us as Guest".
