Is there a limit to how much money that can be added/transferred via paypal?

My daughter will be in the UK next year, I was thinking to use Paypal should she require some funds (unlikely). There seems to be no mention of an "upper limit" to wallet "size", so I am asking if anyone has found a ceiling amount that can be added.

Make sure you use the friends/family option and 'fund' it from your bank account or balance so you only get possible currency conversion fees. Send in £££ not AUD.

Secondly your daughter would need to open a UK paypal account as paypal is country specific and if she tries to use an Aussie one she may find the account limited for security reasons and the funds on hold ☹️

She would need to link a UK bank account or UK debit card to withdraw any funds you send her.

If that is not an option then check out western union or moneygram both of which I used when my son was travelling in South America and ran out of funds on a regular basis !!!
