I want to close both my PayPal and PayPal credit down

I am having lots of issues trying to close both my PayPal and PayPal credit down but I am prevented from doing so why do PayPal make it so difficult to close anything down. They want ME to call them, why can’t or won’t they just do as I asked in first place I don’t want account with PayPal anymore keeps going round in circles getting really fed up
