Changing email and receiving money

I changed my email address this am; should the new email work for receiving money ? And, did that email change affect my log-on ?

Have you added and confirmed your new email address to your paypal account?

You can have up to 8 email addresses on the x1 paypal account and receive funds using any of them but you may want to make your new one your primary email address if you are not removing the other one?

Normally you log in with the primary email address.
