Using PayPal and moving to another country temporarily

Good day!

I'm from the Philippines and moving to Taiwan temporarily but long term, 6-12 months. I receive my weekly earnings on my PayPal account and just transfer funds to my bank. That's almost the fullest extent to what I do with my account. I read that when moving countries, you have to close your current account and open a new one in your new country. If I have no plans on doing any transactions in Taiwan besides what I've been doing here in the Philippines, do I really have to close my account still?

Short version: I'm moving from the Philippines to Taiwan. I just use Paypal to receive weekly earnings and move them to my local Philippine bank account. Can I do this when I locate to another country?

Paypal is country specific so if you move countries you have to open another paypal account in the country you reside in and add an address / phone number / bank accounts / cards from within that country.

If you continue using your old account you may hit security issues.

You are allowed x2 paypal accounts if x1 is personal and the other x1 is business.
