Unable to login due to error on paypals end

let me start off with the following introduction to my problem, i cannot log into my old paypal account.
whenever i try to log in, it tells me that i have the wrong password even though i know for certain that i have the correct PW.
So to ensure my account still exists i go to reset password and enter my email, for wich i get the warning pop up that "Sorry, something seems to have gone wrong. Please try again." occasionally a message will pop up that says "Sorry, there was an error on our end"
i then try to create a new account just to double down on making sure it exists, however it tells me there is already an account with that email
it is important to note that ive had this issue since 3 weeks now and have reached a point of utter frustration now.
i believe there is an open balance, however since i cannot log in anymore and since my countless attempts to reach someone have been met with silence or by a ***** Bot, that doesnt even match the intelligence of any other AI enough to understand my issues,i closed my bank account in an attempt to protect my finances and openend a new one.
additionally I opened a new paypal account from which i am writing you now.
frankly im **bleep** as hell right now, i hope someone here can assist me so i can leave paypal behind me forever.
I'm not even upset about the issue itself, but rather about the absolute lack of human interaction i encounter while working my way down the troubleshooting pipeline.

Contact options for each countries Paypal customer services are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages.
1. Paypal phones when available (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out.
Or
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their Facebook or Twitter pages.
