I'm opening a PayPal account in Egypt, but I'm of a Syrian nationality, and I entered my nationality as "Syrian" when I created my account. Syria is US-sanctioned country, so is it safe for me to use PayPal while I'm living in Egypt? I fear that PayPal may ban my account because of my nationality. Please help!
If you live in Egypt and can prove you live in Egypt if PayPal requests documents and as long as you are not on some int’l fugitive or suspicious persons list, you should be ok.
By the way, Egypt, is an automatic transfer country so you must link a Visa card in order to receive payments.
