I've been getting targeted email ads for specific products that I've searched for in the past. I should point out that I'm almost never logged in to PayPal. Somehow PayPal seems to be getting my search history. How is PayPal getting my search history and how do I opt out of this program? This is appalling. Yes I don't want to receive the emails but I also don't want my data tracked. Regarding unsubscribing from the emails themselves, the email states to unsubscribe from "News and Promotions" in my account. There is only a setting in my account for "News" and it has been unselected for years, yet I still receive the promotions. So that's a problem, but not as big of a problem as PayPal mining my data. Would someone please explain how this program works and how I got enrolled in it?
