Account limited

I was trying to change the name on my account to reflect the name in my credit card. As requested by PayPal, I uploaded a copy of my ID and a recent credit card statement showing my name as written on the card. After a week I for an email saying they have permanently limited my account. What went wrong? Can anyone help? Is there anyone I can’t talk to?

Any document you upload has to prove the name on your paypal account needs changing due to a 2 character error or typo OR for legal reasons like marriage.

You can't change the name on an account from one name to another OR from a fake name to your legal name.

@kernowlass Thanks a lot for your response. I wasn’t using a fake name, or any nickname for that matter, I simply edited my name to appear as it does on my credit card. I doubt the bank will allows fake names. And I have attached the bank statement along with the ID to prove my identity. If PayPal thinks I’m faking my name, maybe they can ask for more documents to prove it. But to suspend my account suddenly left me stranded. If there is any way I can explain what happened to PayPal, I can confidently price my identity in whichever way they want.
